Our radio control room is manned by Senior Officer 24-hours a day. He/She has access to all security procedures during emergencies and has thorough understanding of shift related security strategies.

SECURITY SERVICES – OVERVIEW

We operate a specailised security force, providing security guards to our clients and guaranteeing 24-hour availability. Our choice of fine personnel ensures that our services are of the best quality. The guards are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, uniformed and well disciplined. They are trained pro-active rather than re-active personnel. A two-way radio communication between them and our control room and among themselves is available at all times.

Boledi Construction ensures that guards attend refresher courses to keep them up to date with the latest industry updates as well as the legislation. Staff and organizational development is thus a priority as we regard it to be the cornerstone of a successful business. In view of this, our facilities are stated as follows:

TRAINED SENIOR SECURITY OFFICERS

Reliable senior personnel supervise each division of our security force. They are adequately trained to handle all complaints, emergencies and security related incidents.

SITE INSPECTORS

An experienced security inspector visits premises contracted to Boledi Construction at regular intervals. An inspector ensures that the guards are, and well-equipped alert and the premises are well secured during his/her routine 24-hour checks. An inspector reports to the Management and/or to the Police depending on the circumstances.

PECULIAR SECURITY SERVICES

  • We transport our guards to their respective sites, thereby ensuring prompt delivery of services whilst at the same time guaranteeing that the guards report for duty.
  • Our guards work 12-hour shifts, from 06:00 to 18:00 (Dayshift) and from 18:00 to 06: 00 (Nightshift) and or otherwise per client’s requirements.
  • We guarantee at least two inspections from trained supervisors during the night and on weekends.
  • Boledi Construction also has a Training Officer who trains the guards using our training facilities. The guards also undergo “refresher” courses from time to time with graded awards according to their abilities.
  • All security personnel are thoroughly screened and vetoed before and after the training programme commences, thereby ensuring that unsuitable candidates are not employed.
  • Once Boledi Construction has been awarded a contract a comprehensive job description is compiled on joint agreement with the client. This job description will record specific instructions to be performed by the guard during the course of his/her duties
  • A Gate Registrar and an Occurrence Book are also issued to the guard in order to have an accurate record of
  • The latent security survey of business premises, i.e. survey of systems, procedures and general security are conducted, fro m which we advise the client of the shortcomings in the security systems. This is important because it is very difficult to completely eradicate petty pilfering, but with this survey put in place, serious theft and organized crime can be combated.
